Vienna to Salzburg Mozart's birth place 2015

We took a train to Salzburg about a 3 hour trip the cost was 48 euros, we had a reservation (no fee) and there was a couple in our seats, they did not look too happy to move. It was the same type of agricultural scenery with villages, with rolling hills and forests.

We had some problem finding the apartment which was an easy walking distance from train station once we found it, we had trouble getting in because the cleaning lady was supposed to let us in and did not answer the door. I asked for help at the bar next door and a nice man phoned and then we got in. The apartment had 4 flights of stairs but was very nice including a balcony.

We walked to old town and saw Mozart's birth place, lots of  memorabilia but not set up the way it was when he was born.

Address apartment I Kaserbacher Top 7 Salzburg, web address living on the roofs Salzburg 2053877, it was nice and clean and good location, had a nice deck for sitting outside. I would recommend it.

We went to Prater park which has the oldest amusement park in the world and looked at huge ferris wheel, there are not seats but look like cable cars.  Then out to see the Danube river. We got organized to leave the next day, we needed a taxi to take us to train station and without a phone were not sure what to do but when we asked someone at a tobacco shop they offered to call one for us the next day.
