San Bernadino History and Railroad Museum 2014

We went with our friends to the San Bernardino History & Railroad Museum which is in a beautiful restored building.

The San Bernardino History and Railroad Museum specializes in San Bernardino history and all things railroad.   It houses the Santa Fe Western Archives and unique artifacts, surrounded by hundreds of historic photographs.

The Museum is located in the restored 1918 Santa Fe Depot that serves Amtrak and Metrolink passengers and is across the tracks from the BNSF intermodal facility.  Over 100 freight trains pass by the depot each day

 

 

Palm Springs Street Fair and Ruby's Diner 3014

We went with our friends for supper at Ruby's Diner for supper and then walked around the Palm Springs Street Fair. There was lots of interesting booths and it was a beautiful night.

Palm Springs, California 2014

We are enjoying our winter vacation in Palm Springs, California. We are renting a park model which overlooks a small pond. The weather has been nice and warm and we have enjoyed visiting with friends. Ches has enjoyed feeding a swan, who comes and eats off the deck. The pool is beautiful and I enjoy playing pickleball every morning.
